I live in Western North Carolina 'about two hours from the setting of the book. While the initial chapters may make some uncomfortable ' the book is not "heavy." It becomes inspiring and living g through her brilliant storytelling should be a must-read for those who love America; even its less appetizing corners. Her Pulitzer is well deserved.
