Patagonia’s Thirst For Good

This week Patagonia Provisions dropped something unexpected… a beer. Long Root Ale is the first to be made with Kernza, a perennial grain grown using regenerative agriculture practices, which restores soil biodiversity, sequesters carbon, and efficiently grows crops without chemical fertilizers or pesticides. Kernza’s long root system and perennial growth allows it to thrive without tilling, preserving precious top soil. It also uses less water than conventional wheat, removes more carbon from the atmosphere and makes a tasty brew. Bottom’s up! Get a taste at Patagonia Provisions (3 minutes).
